This is not about your work. It is about you first, your wellbeing, your connection with your true self and the world you are part of; about deepening and sharpening that connection through the practice of ARTing.
ART is a means, tool, practice for deeper understanding, more kindness, trust, truth, inner peace. ART is not a product. We talk; listen; contemplate; meditate; do the work.
Here we are equal participants; together in an interactive, supportive, nurturing, open structure: you are co-creator; I am teacher, guide, colleague, friend. We are in this together, sharing our struggles and findings freely, without judging, comparing, wanting, clinging; with a curious, kind, open mind. Participants will be engaged in experimental creative exercises, mindfulness techniques, independent projects, interactive dialog, and kind group critique.
That is the intention and outline for our course together; to realize what holds us back, is in our work's way, find new openings and do more meaningful work, helpful to yourself and others.
