Air -contrast between freedom and captivity
The sound of the video is split into two opposite parts while the visual impression stays the same. Clouds pass by in front of a blue sky. The only interruption is a small surge of the camera after 30 seconds. I used this mark as a turning point: from harmony to disharmony. The sound of the first part consists of a slowly purling stream, the chirr of a cricket and the sound of steps in the grass. Both, picture and sound, mediate a feeling of freedom. Via elevator the person slides into another world: captivity. The sound is hollow. You can only hear rattling keys and steps on the cold floor. A door is being locked. Someone shakes the door and wants to get out and wants to be free again. But the person is captured, maybe in a nightmare, maybe forever ...Christina Doerrich

Rain Falling on Water
The first thing that came to my mind when I watched this video were the following lines from William Shakespear's Macbeth
First Witch: When shall we three meet again?
In thunder, lightning or in rain?
Second witch: When the hurlyburly's done,
when the battle's lost and won.
Third witch: that will be ere the set of sun. Jessica Klug

Midnight Mood
A surface of the water that is as black as the night that surrounds it and only lit up by the small and not quite circular reflection of the white full moon. This dark scenery sets a melancholic and dreamy atmosphere. The two guitars play the soundtrack to the clip that adds another layer to the gloomy mood. At the same time, it gently accompanies the movement of the water. Jessica Klug

Richter at the Pond
The audio starts with the raindrops fallin... other sounds join up, leading to a climax an...in the end only the rain remains, just like at the beginning. Cathrin Hummel

Life is a l...
The world is constantly changing. One single moment can make history: a false promise, a powerful word, a new president, the birth of a child. Everywhere on planet earth there are magic moments like these taking place. Some change the world for the better, giving new hope to the people. Others are the beginning of a disaster. Lisa Lammert

Shadows turning into faces
When we meet people for the first time, we know nothing about them. We recognise how they look and the way they dress; they are just shadows.
... we first need to approach the fleeting shadow and give it the chance of becoming a face - a person with opinions and feelings, desires and horrors, flaws and perfections.
Simultaneously, we ourselves need to become a face. Sandra Dettki

Dance of the Elements
A combination of human voices and blurred sounds of the electric guitar reflects the natural spectacle in the video footage and thereby creates a completely new impression. Created not only to show the romantic atmosphere of a sunset mirroring in the waves of the sea, the plurality of entangled, partly unsettled sounds are supposed to pick up the ambiguous image of sun and water: A mixture of warmth and comfort but also tautness and numbness. Viola Oberacker

Parallel Universe
What happens if each decision creates a parallel universe and a second version of you lives the other side of the decision you did not choose in this other universe which exists parallel to your own?
As a consequence, how many parallel universes exist just because of the free will of a single human being?
What would your life look like if you came to another decision? Is there any way to get a glance into the parallel universes you created to watch another yourself live? Would you take the chance? Miriam Stiller

Society
In my video I compose "Karawane" from Hugo Ball. I think the dadaistic style fits to the blurred film. Charlotte Faul
